Nollywood star Omoni Oboli has described Dubai as a special place, explaining that she is always excited visiting the tourist haven.
“Dubai is new every time you come; that’s what is so special about Dubai. So you never feel like you’ve seen it all, you never feel like, ‘oh! I have been to Dubai before,” the screen goddess told a group of visiting African journalists, among them News Express Nigeria Publisher Isaac Umunna.
Speaking at a media interaction on Tuesday, September 6, at Jumeirah Emirates Towers, the delectable actress, one of the four Nollywood divas known as Dubai Girls – the others being Chioma Akpotha, Ufuoma McDermott and Uche Jombo – disclosed that she has been to Dubai “like maybe six times.” “But,” according to her, “every time it’s time to come back to Dubai I’m so excited because, first of all, I know there’s going to be something new, there’s always something new, like if you leave Dubai for like six months you come back, and there’s one building that didn’t exist before. There is just some fun place that never existed before, right?”
