Stories of young people facing difficulties while working or studying abroad have been in the news recently. These horror stories have left parents a very worried lot, especially when it comes to letting their children travel.
Speaking on the sidelines of the ongoing East African Roadshow head of Regional Director – Africa; for The Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) Stella Fubara reassured parents of the safety of their children.
“Dubai is a global society, if you choose to study there you will be in class with students from all over the world and its one of the safest places on earth,” she said. I have actually brought up my own kids here and I am so proud of how all rounded they have become, it’s the safest place to bring up children.”
Expounding on the Educational tourism opportunities available in Dubai, she revealed that international universities are actually cheaper in Dubai than they are in their home country.
She also revealed that after studying in Dubai for two years you can get a chance to transfer to the home country of the University.
